MX Diary: Apico’s fresh look

Apico Husqvarna has unveiled a new-look team for 2017 with Jamie Law and Matt Burrows taking over in MX1 from this years Maxxis MX2 second and third-placed riders Steven Clarke and Bryan MacKenzie.

Both riders will contest the Maxxis series along with the Michelin MX Nationals and will be joined on the team by youth rider Jack Lindsey who will race the British Youth Nationals and Michelin MX Nationals as he moves up to the BW85cc class.

"After two successful season in the MX2 class it was felt that it was the right time to move into the MX1 and continue the progression of the team,” said Apico's Dylan Brown. "We are looking forward to another great season with Jamie and Matt in 2017 as title sponsor and showcasing the range of fantastic products at Apico.”

Husqvarna Brand Manager David Edwards is looking forward to the move to MX1.

"It is great to be continuing to work with the Apico Husqvarna team for 2017 and the new line-up of Jamie and Matt,” he said. "It will also be great to see the team moving into the MX1 class and represent the Husqvarna brand in a new class.
