MX Nationals Harri Kullas

Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha's Harri Kullas entered the final round of the Michelin MX Nationals series as 2022 MX1 Pro champion at the all-new Oxford MotoParc circuit.

The new circuit on military land was looking fantastic as Kullas qualified second fastest and then got the holeshot in race one, from Conrad Mewse and Tommy Searle. Mewse made his way past on lap six with Kullas pushing him all the way to the end but not close enough to pass back.

Race two was another blistering holeshot, but this time Kullas turned up the heat and pulled away from Mewse in second and Searle in third, winning by over 10 seconds. His 2-1 scorecard gave him the tie-break for the overall victory.

Harri Kullas: I had no pressure coming into the final round as Id won the title with a round to spare, but as always I try to ride my best and give 100 per cent.

Conrad had really good pace today. In race one he passed me on lap six as he was faster on one part of the track, but by the time I changed my lines, it was too late.

In the second race I had another holeshot but this time managed to pull a second per lap and get away from Conrad. It was awesome to ride a new track which was prepared really well.
