Following the cancellation of the Maxxis Championship round at Foxhill last Sunday, the Buildbase Honda team is eager to take on the third round of the all-new MX Nationals at Whitby this weekend.

Unfortunatley, Brad Anderson will be the sole competitor for  his team, as his team-mates Elliot Banks-Browne and Nez Parker continue to recover from injury.

With two rounds of the championship already complete, Anderson sits fifth in the MX1 standings. The two-time British MX Champion has shown speed aboard his Honda CRF450R and has been working closely with the team on bike set-up and race starts. He'll be looking to impress with three solid performances in front of his home crowd.

Banks-Browne recently had an operation to repair his damaged shoulder and is on the road to recovery, aiming to be back on the bike in the coming weeks, whilst Parker will also miss the Whitby round to allow his injuries to heal completely before returning to racing.

Meanwhile, Putoline Apico Honda riders Neville Bradshaw and James Harrison will represent aboard the CRF250R in the MX2 class at Whitby.

Dave Thorpe, team manager, said "This weekend we will go to Whitby feeling positive following the hard work that Brad and the team have put in during recent weeks. At the previous round of the MX Nationals at FatCat Brad showed great form to take third overall and we will be looking to build upon that this weekend, so we go there looking for a strong result and with a positive attitude."

"Whitby is one of my local tracks, said Anderson. "It's always fun to ride and I've had a lot of good results there in the past. My recent form has seen my results improve and hopefully I continue on from my podium at the last round."
