MXGP MXoN Assen

Team France have named their rider line-up for the 2019 MXoN and unsurprisingly, once again, the French selection for Motocross of Nations held at Assen on September 28/29 will blow up the motocross corner of the internet.

The 2019 Team France MXdN squad, selected by the Fdration Franaise de Motocyclisme, is Gautier Paulin (MX1), Romain Febvre (Open) and Tom Vialle (MX2).

That means the superfast Frenchmen that compete in the US 450 and 250 domestic championships, that's Marvin Musquin and Dylan Ferrandis, are not in the Motocross of Nations squad.

The French trio will be attempting to win a sixth consecutive Chamberlain Trophy for their country after Paulin, Ferrandis and Jordi Tixier, who was a fill-in replacement for Romain Febvre, raced to victory in 2018.

Let's be honest, Team France could go with two squads and both would have a ridiculously good chance of being on the podium.
