At the final round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship at Foxhill a number of riders were selected for participation in anti-doping tests conducted by Sport England.

The top two in each class were tested along with another randomly selected rider and all the results have come back negative.

"It is some time now since anti-doping tests were conducted at a round of the British motocross championships,” said ACU Chairman Brian Higgins. "It is important to periodically carry out this procedure so that everyone – the riders, the officials and spectators – can see that measures are taken to prevent the use of drugs in our sport.

"The riders who were selected conducted themselves in a very professional manner and the results, I am pleased to say, reflect this.”
