New-look NORA for 2020 Championship

As part of their plans to freshen up the Nora-MX 2020 season, Richard and Shirley Shaw will introduce a number of fun, as well as potentially championship-changing, incentives.
Buddy-upThe very youngest riders in the Nora camp 50cc and 100cc will be paired with a Pro/Pro-Am championship rider in a Nora-MX Buddy championship. Riders will be partnered by a draw of names, and points will be accumulated by the two-rider teams throughout the year.
This annual trophy event is intended to make the youngsters feel theyre a part of a far bigger event, and encourage the senior national riders to give them some support.
Double bubble
Double points will be allocated to all groups at round six of the Nora-MX championship at Culham, Oxfordshire on June 21. This round will also serve as the fourth round of the Cromwell Trucks
British QX series, but only the Nora-MX championship classes will be scored double this could be a real mid-season game changer.
Best to count
Competitors across all Nora-MX race groups will be given the chance to drop their worst five races, leaving only their best results to count towards the championship.
Camping Lotto
A small charge has traditionally been made for those wishing to take advantage of overnight camping at Nora-MX rounds. This will continue for 2020, but the difference is that all overnight campers with a valid camping ticket will be entered into a draw.
The draw will take place at the morning riders briefing and the prize awarded to the holder of the winning ticket.
