This weekend the sidecar GP season moves to GP 6 in France at the well established and completely fantastic Plomion track.

Bax/Stupelis took the overall win and regained the red plate at the end of GP 4 in Ukraine and go into this weeks event with a six-point lead over current champions Marvin Vanluchene / Ben Van Den Bogaart.

Hermans/Musset holding third. Sanders/Kunnas are up to fourth with Brown/Chamberlain now fifth.

There are many other British/Irish teams to watch out for this weekend with six pairs trying to qualify.

There are two Brown Teams, Stuart and also his son Jake Brown with Joe Millard currently holding seventeenth with Kinge/Gray 16th.

Hodges/Grahame hold 21st place with Foden/Bijenhof also proving they can qualify but yet to pick up any points.

And finally one team making the trip from Northern Ireland are Moulds/Kirwin, they also crashed during qualifying in GP 1, but they are now back to fitness.

Brett Wilkinson is still recovering after a bad crash at GP 1 and will be spectating but not racing.

Other teams having worth watching out for are Giraud/Haller who crashed during practice in the Ukraine and missed both races, but are back this week and will be on fire at their home GP.

Watch out for updates over the weekend.
