7th Annual Open Day since opening in July 2004 at Trident Park, Sat 24th July 2010.

 

Celebrity riders from the World of Superbike racing include:

Leon Haslam (currently 2nd in the World Superbike Championship)

Tommy Hill (currently 2nd in the British Superbike Championship)

James Ellison (very good rider, just returned to racing after being out with a broken leg)

Michael Laverty (Suzuki rider currently riding very well and charging up the British Superbikes leader board, currently in 4th)

Adam Jenkinson (on his Rookie year in British Superbikes with Buildbase Kawasaki, Rocket Centre are his personal sponsor)

James Westmoreland (racing for CAME Yamaha in the British 600 Supersport, currently 2nd)

The Purple Helmets are crossing the water from the Isle of Man to put on a show for the good people of Lancashire. The 12 strong stunt riding mad men will be performing the very funny and entertaining acts that have made them World famous including wheelie bin racing, the rocket man and human pyramid.

Jack Daniels BBQ featuring the new range of sauces from Jack Daniels.

Bouncy Slide, trampolines, face painting and stilt walking balloon modellers to keep the kids happy...plus an ice cream van.

Live music throughout the day from local band "Compared to What” playing covers of indie, rock and pop from the charts.

A charity auction and raffle will be held for Well Child and North West Air Ambulance with money can't buy prizes such as signed boot from Moto GP rider Ben Spies.
