The 2006 edition of the Scottish Six Days is again a demonstration of riding skill by Graham Jarvis on his Sherco. Graham who has ridden the Blue Machines to victory in 199 and 2004 leads the overall classification after the finish of the third day. He has only accumulated four points thus far in this extremely challenging classic event. The wind, the rain, the cold and even the sun that the riders have faced has made the difficult course even more challenging. In addition to Jarvis, several other Sherco riders are doing very well, Gary MacDonald is in eight place with only 14 points, and the young team rider Loris Gubian (the name on the results list reads Sampson) on his 125 is in 26th place. Mention must also be given to Jordi (55th) and Jorge Alonso (81st) two amateur riders who are carrying out the final testing phase of the 2006 3.2, 4T in the exacting and complicated environment of the Scottish Six Days.
