Organisers of the International Dirt Bike Show have reported increased visitor attendance for this years four-day exhibition at Stoneleigh Park with numbers over four per cent up on 2015.

The annual off-road showcase, organised by Mortons Media Group, is the biggest event of its type in Europe and is widely regarded as a measure of the state of the sport in the UK.

"What a superb few days,” said show head Nick Mowbray. "To see the enthusiasm from the punters and efforts put in by all of our

exhibitors is fantastic and only serves to demonstrate the strength of this show and the scene generally.”

His views were echoed by Richard Barrett from show partner Motul.

"I've been attending and exhibiting at the International Dirt Dike Show for many years and this one was without doubt the most

impressive,” he said. "The engagement we had with the visitors was great and our first year as title partner gave Motul a tangible boost in brand awareness.”

The mix of new machinery, one-off deals and star names – including eight-time world champion Tony Cairoli – proved popular with off-road fans and exhibitors with live events helping to ensure show-goers had a full day out.

"We'd like to pass our thanks on to Tony who made the time to come to this year's show to meet fans and sign autographs,” said KTM's Ross Walker. "What a buzz!

"There was so much interest in the new KTM 2017 off-road range and it's always a pleasure to welcome so many visitors onto our stand to help and advise.”

Planning has already started for next year's show with some exciting changes promised.

"I can't say too much right now,” added Mowbray, "but watch this space because throughout the next 12 months we'll be revealing all regarding exciting developments and new elements which are being introduced.

"We already can't wait to get back to Stoneleigh next year so get the dates of

Thursday to Sunday, October 26-29, in your diary – it promises to be another unforgettable four days.”
