Simpson will race at Weston this weekend

KTM UK racer Shaun Simpson will join the super-star line-up to contest the Weston Beach Race this coming weekend.
The recently crownedMX2 British Champion will join the likes of Stefan Everts, Tyla Rattray, DavidKnight and Marc de Reuver in this year's main solo race at Weston-super-Marethis weekend.
The 20-year-old Scot, who narrowly missed out on apodium in his first Des Nations race at Donington Park a few weeks ago, islooking forward to riding in the challenging three-hour race. The rising Britishstar is looking forward to challenging some of the stiff competition at Weston,as well as mixing it up with the 1000's of competitors taking on this year'ssuper-tough challenge.
Simpson will join the factory KTM squad next year forhis assault on the World MX2 Championship, in which he finished in an incrediblefourth position overall this year. The KTM UK pilot will be looking to finishhis season off in style with his first Weston win, especially against some ofthe dominant forces in World Championship racing that are taking part thisyear.
The 2008 Weston Beach Race also includes many excitingoff-track activities including a charity 'Beach For Life' fun run in aid ofCancer Research, stunt displays, a chance to win a quad, as well as manydifferent types of trade stands - all aimed at a fun family weekendout.
