Stokers Wild

IN a world where it seems like no off-road manufacturer can sneeze without its rivals all catching the same cold i.e they are all the same bespoke Italian marque TM continues to plough its own metaphorical furrow with a quite amazing range of stand-out two and four-stroke racers.

The Pesaro factory is state of the art and the firm has a cracking reputation in the world of competition two-stroke karting, which gives them a head start when it comes to tuning off-road smokers.

They are one of a few – all European – companies who are still dedicated to the development of the two-stroke competition engine along with the likes of the giant KTM/ Husqvarna plus Beta, Gas Gas and Sherco.

It isn't often that a firm fronts-up a couple of two-strokes for test, especially pure motocrossers, but it is a refreshing change and one that test pilot Martin Craven relished.
