Since breaking his arm at the MX Nationals at Hawkstone in May, Apico Husqvarna rider Stuart Edmonds has been working hard on his recovery.

"Its been around seven weeks now since my surgery and everything has been going great," said the Dubliner. "The past month I have been working on strength and mobility and also getting my fitness back up to scratch which is probably the hardest part.

"I saw the surgeon last week and he was amazed at my recovery and how far along it has come, even with my range of motion and muscle mass on the arm already. Even though he told me not to be lifting weights he knew and asked what I had been doing.

"I tried to lie and he said well you dont get a bicep in six weeks by sitting on the sofa but he was happy with what I had been doing and said to keep it up."

Stuey now faces a race against time to get back on a bike and prepare for this years MXoN on October 7 at RedBud when he hopes to be representing Team Ireland.
