The team – owned by Isle of Wight businessman Rob Bradley – will be running Honda CRF250s on the track and CRF70s in the pits in this year’s British and world championships with young guns Carl Nunn, Jason Dougan and Luke Kennett teaming up with grizzled veteran (and dbr ‘star’ columnist) Jeff Perrett.
As well as top racers, the team has signed some of the leading technicians in the business. Keith Thorpe, Michael Palmby, Pete Collingwood, Shawn Perrett and Shawn Rolfe will be spinning the spanners under the guidance of team manager Mick Aldous in their Mildenhall-based workshops.
As well as running tip-top bikes, the RTT Honda team will be looking good too. They’ll be kitted out in Thor clothing, Smith goggles, Alpinestars boots and Animal-designed Premier helmets – with the exception of a fully Foxed-up Nunny.
With all the logistics in place the riders are preparing for this season’s racing – starting with the full squad heading out to Corona for four weeks of testing and training under California’s blue skies.
