Toughsheet finale

Motocross

The final round of the Toughsheet National Twin-shock Championship, took place last weekend at Howton Court, Pontrilas, near Hereford, run by Cumbria Twin-shock Club.

It turned out to be a fun packed event, and surely it's the way forward as the regulars were joined by the Partridge Ventilation Pre-83 125cc boys and the West Midland Evo Pre-85 riders.

It certainly makes sense to have all the old bikes out at the same event, as it guarantees a full entry, and avoids all the date clashes that individual series create.

So riders have asked for more of the same, as the event had a good atmosphere, with plenty in fancy dress and parties breaking out around the vans in the paddock.

We will discuss this at the Twin-shock AGM, which will take place at the Moat House, Stoke, starting at 4pm on Saturday, October 24. If there are any stragglers out there who would still like to come, please get in touch ASAP with Geoff Shuttleworth.

Any item for discussion on the agenda needs also to be sent to Geoff Shuttleworth before the meeting.
