"It's something I've always wanted to do and I'm very excited about it."Ballykelly is a brilliant track and landowner Don Shields is exactly the kind of straight-talking chap I like working with - we've got some big, big plans for the event."We'll have loads of help from the Northern Ireland Events Company and loads of good sponsors behind us - the Irish are just so enthusiastic about the sport which is one of the main reasons I wanted to stage the event over there."As dbr went to press, organisers of the Pontrilas GP - which will also feature a round of the European 125cc championship - were still trying to finalise details of the May 16 event.
