Whats not to love about a racer whos taken a ton out of motocross and feels the need to put something back?

Nev Bradshaw, who's just had his first race since major surgery on a kinked artery around his hip, is working on the next wave of champions with his nephews Casey and Troy.

The former British championship contender and his brother-in-law Luke Kennett have helped eight-year-old Casey progress through the ranks with the Portsmouth club and, heading into his second full season on an Auto, he's now a firm fixture in the top 10.

"He came and spent a week with his Uncle Nev in the holidays and we got some good riding done,” said the South African. "It was awesome to see his passion for bikes, he knows all the top riders and all the good YouTube videos and stuff. He reminds me a lot of myself at that age!

"He's a very intelligent kid and takes in everything he learns so his progression has been quick and with some good bike time we're aiming for some podiums and possibly moving up to some national events. His dad won the Portsmouth MX1 championship this season so he's not short on good advice.”

Troy's a couple of years behind his big bro but is showing great speed and after his first season racing is looking forward to getting to the front next year.

"I really get a kick out the buzz motocross gives them,” added Nev. "Sometimes they are pumped beyond belief and can't stop grinning and other times they are so mad they end up in tears. The sport definitely grabs you at a young age!”What's not to love about a racer who's taken a ton out of motocross and feels the need to put something back?
