With the weather forecast predicting bright sunshine on Saturday followed by torrential rain on Sunday, Events 22 promoter of this weekends Red Bull Pro Nationals at Culham Park has taken the brave decision to reverse the running order for its final round of the season.

This means Sunday's scheduled programme of two Pro MX1 and MX2 motos, two full blocks of Red Bull Elite Youth Cup races and three British Two-stroke Open class motos will now be held on the Saturday.

On Sunday the 2012 series will sign-off with three full blocks of Red Bull Elite Youth Cup races and three British Two-stroke 125cc class motos.

"We've had a nightmare with the weather this year,” explains Events 22 managing director, Matt Bates. "First Landrake was postponed, then we lost a day at Canada Heights, we were nearly blown away at Duns and we had to switch venues from a water-logged Whitby. Now we're faced with Mediterranean weather on Saturday and a monsoon on the Sunday so switching round the weekend programme seems the only sensible thing to do.

"I can't wait for this Winter's Arenacross series to kick into action – at least we know we'll be warm and dry!”

The full programme of events that make the Red Bull Pro Nationals such a firm favourite with families has also been switched so as well as top-flight on-track action Saturday's entertainment will also include a visit from the Red Bull Matadors aeroplane display team, Freestyle Motocross, mountain bike shows, MX try-out experience and the Kidzone activities starring 'Peppa Pig', 'George Pig', 'Bob the Builder', 'Fireman Sam' and 'Dora the Explorer'.

"We know it's short notice and we can only apologise to everyone who has based their weekend around coming to Culham Park on Sunday,” adds Matt. "But we want visitors to come and enjoy a great day out with us and the weather plays a huge part in that, especially as we're such a family-friendly event.

"We've still got exactly the same programme of events scheduled – the only difference is that we'll all get to enjoy it a day early. In the sunshine!”

All tickets purchased in advance for Sunday will be valid for Saturday. Anyone who's already purchased tickets for Sunday who can't attend on Saturday should contact the Events 22 office via e-mail at office@events22.co.uk or by phone on 01235-750749 to arrange a refund.
