THE preparations and the waiting are over. This weekend in Italy the World MX1/ MX2 Championships spring into life, and never has a good start not a winning start but a good one been so necessary as the stars of world motocross chase a possible maximum 150 points in the space of 15-days, the long road trip to Bulgaria and Turkey following immediately on from the Faenza show.
A score of 30-points per GP is a must for anyone who doesn't want to lose contact with the pace, and the teams know it! With anything from three to six warm-up races under their belts, the top names are ready to help you forget the depressing state of the world outside the sport and all of the factory boys have shown a glimpse of their form. So who is hot, and who is not?
