Round two of the BSMA Doodson Motorsport GT Cup was held at Wildtracks, Chippenham, a superb venue managed by a very professional team which ensured that all was completed early.

Aaron Jenner won the first MX1 race but had to work hard to get the better of Adam Cook and Phil Mercer who suffered a puncture. It was left to Cook to challenge followed by Scott Hubbard, fast-starting Charlie Heatley and Scott Bates. Race two holeshot went to Adam Cook but he crashed heavily out of the meeting. A battle ensued between Jenner and Mercer, the lead changing several times with Mercer taking the flag from Jenner, Scott Bates and Mark Young. Same again in race three with Mercer taking the win from Jenner with the improving Max Tranah third. The final encounter saw Jenner take the win and first overall from Mercer, Jake Hassel and Tranah.

MX2 star Seb Osbourne made no mistakes although he had to settle for second in race one powered to easy wins in the next three encounters. Ricky Lethaby won race one and was consistently second with Ryan Williams in third. Rowan Hill improved as the weekend progressed with Nicky Watts having a poor second day to drop behing Alan Pearce on a 125.

The 125 Championship saw Welsh wizard Ben Howell ride to a maximum. The race was on for second with Corie Southwood and Matthew Thomas each taking a turn at runner-up with the decision going to Corie with Matthew just edging out Ryan Butler, Paul Wildman Willis and Connor Pearce.

MXY2 saw South African Damon Strydom take the second maximum of the weekend, his super smooth style making the track look easy. Tommy Alba never stopped trying to close the gap and was clear in second in a very competitive group.Jay Thomas, runner up in race one, had to work very hard to take the final podium position as he had to share top six positions with Alex Davies and Zac Alsop. Mason Law completed the top six.

Big wheel 85 pilot Jack Gardner looked to take a certain maximum with thre wins on race one. He had a disaster in race four but was back to normal in the final race chased to the line by Jordan Bachelor. Just three points covered the next three riders, Curtis Blamey third just one point ahead of race four winner Conrad Mewse, Josh Coleman taking fifth with three third positions in his last three outings.

Sid Evans was another maximum rider in the Small-wheel 85s. Tommie Schofield chased hard but was unable to hang on to Evans but took four runner-up positions.Michael Elles consolidated a good weekend's riding in third with the improving David Keet fourth.

Junior Championship maximum went to Harry Kimber who showed a clean pair of heels to the group. Harry Wichman worked hard with four second spots for overall runner-up with Callum Green third.
In the Auto Championship sponsored by Husqvarna James Hyett was unbeatable on the day having to come from the back in race four. Luke Williamson took second overall despite having crashed-out in race three. Joel Rizzi and Jack Scally finished equal on points with Joel getting the decision.
