WOR Events return to the fantastic MAESHAFN

MAESHAFN venue near Mold in North Wales on the weekend of 20/21st March and it really is shaping up to be a brill weekend. VENUE MAESHAFN, MOLD, FLINTSHIRE. SATNAV CH7 4DH
The venue is were it all started for WOR a long time ago and has a little bit of everything that a proper Hare Scrambles/XC course should have.
With an MX based type going the 5 mile loop winds its way around the mountain following lots of twisty tracks and established trails.
The main feature at the venue is the fantastic scenery and the fact that all abilities can get around the course.
It is a great venue for spectators too, a short walk from the nice paddock area means you can see 99 % of the course....This always makes the atmosphere at Maeshafn very enjoyable indeed.
The weekend kicks off on the Saturday 20th March with one of the Race Experience Days, a truly brilliant day that offers all class of rider from complete beginner through to experienced campaigner a fantastic day of practice and racing all under the watchful and helpful eye of the very friendly and knowledgeable WOR Events marshals.
Running from 10am through till 4pm, Race Experience Days are always busy and fun things to get involved in.
Sunday the 21st will see the WOR team run round 1 of the Junior Cross Country Premiership rd 1, This is a 6 round series for the kids, catering for auto's, 65cc's and both 85cc big wheel and small.
The kids will take part in a 1.5hr race that starts at 10am.
These kids' events were getting very popular last year and a steady entry is expected so the club are asking if you would please get the junior entries in as soon as possible.
12 noon on the 21st then hosts the 3rd round of the WOR Events class leading Cross Country Series, the MOTUL XCP.
This is the best XC series in the country and one of the most highly acclaimed in terms of organisation, Professionalism and most importantly enjoyment and value for money.
With instant quality results and live screen lap times, Trophies up to 3rd place on the day for the huge spectrum of classes that WOR cater for and not forgetting a properly planned and constructed circuit, this is the place to be on your dirt bike that day.
All WOR Events are open to non members but by becoming a member huge savings can be made on the rest of the year, Entries can be obtained from www.worevents.com or by calling the WOR hotline 07944378432 (Phone manned by humans!!).
Any interested riders are urged to enter quick as unlike other clubs WOR will always stop the entry at a sensible number to ensure quality track time and safe racing for their riders.
