AMA Supercross Injury Report

AMA Supercross has claimed its usual round of injuries during the last three months so we thought wed recap the leading lights currently sitting out the series.

Ken Roczen is, of course, the most prominent absentee and Honda has now admitted that he will also miss the outdoor season. September is the earliest date for him to renew training and Christian Craig has been signed up to take over his ride in the outdoor nationals.

HRC didn't have a rider at the gate in Seattle as during the muddy practice Cole Seely aggravated torn knee muscles sustained one week earlier in St Louis.

Also out in the 450s are Jimmy Albertson with vertebrae damage, Mike Alessi (collarbone), Trey Canard (viral infection) and Weston Peick (wrist).

Out of action in the 250s at present are Matt Bisceglia (ankle), Benny Bloss (shoulder and bicep), Tyler Bowers (thigh), Austin Forkner (hip), R J Hampshire (shin), Alex Martin (back), Jeremy Martin (ankle) and Phil Nicoletti (ankle).
