We saw him in race-winning form outdoors last season but Anaheim 1 was Ken Roczen’s first Monster Energy AMA Supercross race since he badly injured his right wrist at San Diego last February.
Ending the night in second, the German then shrugged off the injuries he’s sustained for two years straight racing SX at the post-race press conference.
“I don’t have the mobility that I had before the injuries, definitely on my left arm,” he said.
“The right one is actually pretty solid. I still have a little stiffness pain but this is my new normal so I honestly don’t think really about it too much anymore.
“In the heat race I cased the crap out of that second quad and they held up pretty good.”
