AMA Supercross Marvin Musquin Foxborough

Red Bull KTM Factory Racings Marvin Musquin charged his way to victory in the 450SX class on Saturday in front of a packed crowd at Gillette Stadium for Round 15 of the AMA Supercross Championship.

As the gate dropped for the 450SX Main Event, Musquin powered to the front and assumed the lead on the opening lap.

The Frenchmen dominated the first 21 laps of the race until Eli Tomac led just before the white flag. With victory on his mind, Musquin fought back to make a last-lap pass on Tomac and capture his third win of the season in Foxborough.

Musquin: After Eli got past me, I knew I had to do something its for the win. I led so many laps and I was bummed but I felt like I was riding really good so I knew I could charge.

I was going into the main rut the whole Main Event and he cut really tight, I definitely didnt expect it. Obviously, the outcome was pretty brutal and Im sorry about what happened with the crash but it could have been bad for me too. It was for a 450 Main Event win, sometimes you have to try your hardest and I know I did that.

Stressful Seattle SX for HRC’s spanner spinner

The Seattle SX was horrendous for the riders – take Eli Tomac’s “today we were having fun” comment with a pinch of salt – but spare a thought for the mechanics who were stretched to full capacity behind the scenes.
