Emma Bristow retained her European Womens Trials Championship last weekend with the Sherco factory star taking victory in the fourth and final round of the series in Lazzate, Italy.

The 26-year-old, who is also defending her world and British crowns in 2017, won three of the four European rounds after being pipped by young German star Theresa Bauml on the second day of the two-day round staged at Liepaja, Latvia.

In the European men's series Brits Iwan Roberts (Beta), Toby Martyn (Vertigo) and Jack Peace (Gas Gas) finished the season in a tight-packed second, third and fourth places behind Spain's Arnau Farre on the factory Gas Gas.
