John, the comeback kid!

CURRENTLY making what some have said is the greatest comeback since Lazarus is John Lampkin, turning back the years on a 300 Fantic!
John has been invited, along with Steve Saunders, to ride the Costa Brava Two Day and he says, I rode the Ventoux trial in France a couple of years ago and just turned up, borrowed a bike, was totally unfit and it was nothing but hard work.
So when I accepted this latest invitation I decided to just do a bit beforehand so I can enjoy it more. Blackie Holden got hold of the Fantic for me and weve fettled it a bit so it suits me.
John had a run out in the Wetherby club trial last weekend - and promptly won the Clubman class! Could be a bigger test this weekend though as he has only entered the Lakes Two Day! It was my idea, the ultimate shakedown run, I reckon it will be pretty hard work but you know me, Ill be trying a bit!
