Reader's Rides - Ian Cook's Suzuki RL325

By John Dickinson on 26th Feb 20

Trials

Ian Cooks shiny development Suzuki RL325 was gracing the Beamish Owners Club stand at the recent Telford Classic Dirt Bike Show.

Cooky has tweaked and uprated the Beamish as an ongoing project and described its current state as a dry build before it is let loose in the sections.

It sports a modern dual map electronic ignition, flat-slide carb, reworked cylinder head, trick exhaust, an extended swinging arm (re-chromed) and many more secret mods.

Plus the Beamish has been put on a diet and many porky pounds hived off it thanks to lightweight titanium and aluminium fastners, spindles etc, including an aircraft quality aluminium triple clamp steering stem.

Great job Ian and we look forward to seeing it out there in the near future...
