Scottish Six Days Trial

Gary Macdonald won the 2017 Hope Technology Scottish Pre-65 Two Day Trial staged last Friday/ Saturday, April 29/30 to become the first Scot to win this prestigious event since its inception back in 1984.

Local ace Gary, from Kinlochleven, the village that's steeped in Scottish Six Days history, where the Two Day is based, rode a BSA Bantam that perfectly suits his slight build.

The 33 year-old dropped four marks on the opening day but then posted the only clean ride on the Saturday to jump from third place to overtake 2015 winner James Noble on his 500 Ariel and first day leader, Triumph Cub mounted Dan Thorpe to take the historic win.
