Scottish Six Days Trial

With the closing date for the 2020 Scottish Six Days Trial which runs Monday to Saturday, May 4-May 9 set to close this Sunday, December 8, riders really are on thin ice now to get their entries in on time!

And with entries already standing at 365 at the time of writing, a ballot is already a certainty with just 280 places up for grabs plus however many apply in the expected last-minute rush.

The Scottish will of course once again be based in Fort William, on the shores of Loch Linnhe, and the six days of competition, which each feature a different single lap course, of up to 120 miles in distance, are being treated to a thorough overhaul by the experienced marking-out team and there will be exciting new routes and sections.

Another amazing, unique trial in the Scottish Highlands is guaranteed with the organisers only regret being a necessary hike in the entry fee due to ever-rising costs to 525.

This, of course, includes fuel for the week, plus lunches where applicable.

This is your chance to ride with the best on a level playing field, same course, same sections.

And by the best we mean 12-times winner Dougie Lampkin, three times victor James Dabill and the likes of Jack Price who will mean to start the 2020 event in the manner he finished the 2019 edition - with a superb clean ride on the final day as proof he is a future Premier award candidate.

So, if you wish to take part in the most famous trial in the world, this is your final call, remember the closing date is December 8. Are you up to The Scottish? You only have days to make your mind up.
