THE new Gas Gas factory management continue to make a statement of intent and recently signed the popular Sandra Gomez to represent the brand in International trials targeting Emma Bristows World title.

Sandra, 23, will make her competition debut on a brand-new TXT300 Racing model in the Scottish Six Days Trial.

The Spaniard is no stranger to the Scottish and genuinely loves the event. She has also ridden the Pre-65 Two Day on a Cub so is a real Scottish fan.

The signing brings Sandra back to trials – she was vice World Champion in 2013 and has three Trial des Nations winners' medals under her belt.

In 2015 she concentrated on enduro and bagged the Women's World SuperEnduro title (deposing Brit Emma Bristow) and also the Women's AMA Endurocross championship.

Said Sandra: "I'm just so excited to be back with Gas Gas, the brand I started off with in trial.

"And the truth is that I'm really motivated and looking forward to beginning my training and fighting to get my first world title in trial.

"My first race is going to be the Scottish so I'm going to be using this time to get used to the new Gas Gas TXT 300 Racing.

"I'm absolutely thrilled at the thought of competing.”
