Club Reports

Ilfracombe teenager Connor Atkinson, a Senior Youth class competitor, was best on the main route in the Lyn clubs Molland Cup trial at Morthoe, near Parracombe, north Devon on Easter Sunday.

In three laps of woodland going in Kemacott Farm he lost just eight marks. He incurred two mark debits in the sixth and last sections and single mark losses in the fifth, eighth, tenth and eleventh.

In Clubman Expert it was nip and tuck all the way between James Bright and Kyle Jacobs. They lost nine and 11 respectively in the ninth sub which was the most difficult and Bright also gained a slight advantage in the previous hazard.

Newton Abbot youngster and reigning National D class champ Billy Green was best on the Alternative route.
"With a small entry we laid out the course correspondingly,” said CoC Graham Baker.
