A visit from the king

CHRISTMAS came early this year for the members of the East Kent SSC at its annual Presentation Evening as the club pulled off the coup of the year and secured the ultimate suprise guest for the evening, none other than the greatest motocross rider of all time, 10-time World Champion Stefan Everts!
After the initial shock of seeing their idol and asking "have we really got Stefan Everts ” the riders and their families celebrated the achievements of the racing year in awe of the superstar who was handing out the trophies.
Stefan kindly donated autographed copies of his new book and DVD, which led to some fierce bidding as an auction took place, an he autographed pictures, trophies, photos, programmes, shirts, beer mats and numerous body parts that were presented to him by the star struck fans young and old.
