YORKSHIRE trials ace Jonathan Richardson is now a Gas Gas rider after being snapped up for the 2007 Gas Gas UK squad by John Shirt Jnr recently.
Jonathan claimed a strong second in B class in the ACU British Youth Trials Championship this season aboard Beta machinery and behind Gas Gas UK rider, and now team-mate, Ben Morphett, and will next attack his first year in A Class where he will face stiff opposition but is confident he can improve his techniques on the Gasser
After testing the 2007 PRO125 for a few weeks, he collected his brand new mount from Gas Gas UK headquaters on Saturday and is pictured below collecting the bike from Shirty Jnr.
Said Shirty, " I'm very happy to have Jonathan on the team, I have watched his results closely this year and believe that he will mature into one of the best young riders in the country. His riding style really suits the Gasser and I think he will soon be shocking quite a few riders. It's also good that both Jonathan and Ben Morphett will now be teammates and help each other.
