IN response to the recently published request for an EGM of Moredon MXC, I attended a meeting called by the interested parties and listened to their concerns.
During this meeting they were informed that the club does have an original Constitution, dating back to 1980 which will be amended early in 2007 to make its rules appropriate to the club's current activities and simplify the voting procedure applied to the election of club officers at the AGM.
The BSMA has agreed to submit the revisions to its Solicitor to ensure, where possible, that there are no legal inconsistencies within these rules which could cause either the club or its members to be at risk from unwanted litigation.
