Super special Church House

Once a year, and only once a year, a few lucky riders get the chance to compete at a very special venue.

Church House Farm, at Clifton on Teme, Worcestershire, is such a place and has in past years attracted many top enduro riders, who return every time an event runs there.

This year Clifton Off-Road will be running a Motoduro on March 24, with two one-hour adult races for Expert, Clubman and Sportsman classes, two 45-minute races for Youth riders on BW85s and 125/250F machines and two 30-minute races for Youth competitors on Auto, Junior 65cc and SW85cc bikes.

The event will run under ORPA regulations. Transponder timing will be provided by Fast Eddy Racing, so the event may well attract plenty of regular Fast Eddy riders to this venue, which most organisers would give their right arm for.

The Clifton venue boasts a 4-5mile course which contains a bit of everything – valleys, woodland, ravines and off-cambers around a flowing natural course.

Andjust to make things interesting there is an extreme section which has always provided great entertainment in past events.

The last event at Clifton Farm saw the course reversed for the second race of the day for each group and depending on weather conditions in the run-up to the event, this format may also be applied to this event.

Organisers Bob Crump and Nick Clarke spend months preparing the course for the event and their hard work is evident to all who ride there.

The course usually extends from the farm into estate land, which usually never has a bike over it, following woodland paths and forest trails before returning to the rolling hills of the farm.

This is definitely not to be missed. A terrific event that is well organised with a course to match many of the top off-road venues in the UK.
