Youth finale

WESTMORLAND Motor Club are hosting the final rounds of the 2008 ACU British Youths Trials Championship this coming weekend, October 25/ 26, at High Newton in South Cumbria. The course will consist of three laps of 12 sections, with each rider allowed up to five and a half hours to complete the route. The weekend kicks off on Saturday morning when Youth C and D will be in action. Billy Bolt leads the Youth C class just one point ahead of Iwan Roberts and so it's going to be an all out battle to see who comes out on top. Meanwhile, Toby Martin has the 2008 Youth D title wrapped up. However the second place is all to play for with just three points separating the next four riders.
Following on from Saturday's action, Youth A and B set off on Sunday. A jam packed Youth B entry should set the scene for the day with all the top riders in the mix. In Youth A Ben Morphett is on course for the title, with the runner up spot once again still to fight for. Youth B looks to be done and dusted. However, with Richard Sadler moving up to do battle with the Youth A lads, the door is wide open to see who will take the win.
