Bolton and Hughes star at round two!

Sunshine and dust was the order of the day at round two of the Gas Gas Motos UK XC Series, staged WOR Events at the superb Maeshafn venue, in Mold, on Sunday.
The track was a bumpy, dusty, demanding five-mileloop that had just about everything in it, bar the customary WOR bog!With so much dry weather of late, the baked hard ground eventuallyturned into a powdery sandy consistency that offered grip as well assome big banked berms.
As an outsider, the track looked fun to ride butfrom talking to the exhausted riders around the pit area and at the endof the event the circuit was a tough one with concentration and rockavoidance the paramount factors. Riders did enjoy the challenge though,and many a brown dust coloured face shook the clerk of the course'shand on the passing of the chequered flag.
WOR don't run easy events and the quality of riding throughout the ranks is really good.
