TONYMOTO, near Winchester, saw the arrival of many riders down for a track day, with a difference. Friday's track day was not just about the riders all getting together; it was in aid of the Nottingham Neonatal Trust, which is supported by Jamie Dobb.

Jamie has been associating with this charity and held a charity ball for the cause which raised again, quite a bit of money for the trust.

Over the day £1,000 was raised for the charity, money much appreciated I can imagine. A raffle held on the day helped raise nearly half the money with participants digging deep to win raffle prizes supplied by Racers Edge MX Coaching, Brad Anderson, Neville Bradshaw, Evoke Concepts, Seat Motorsport, Dirt Bike Rider, Moto Magazine, Tonymoto, Stall Holders at the event and many more.

Many Pro riders appeared for the occasion including, Brad Anderson, Neville Bradshaw, Kristian Whatley and the legendary Greg Hanson, as well as many others.

Greg pulled the fastest lap time all day and showed everyone that he certainly still has it. Kristian Whatley was showing off his skills to impress the crowds, those that didn't know of his talent certainly do now.

Brad Andersen and Neville Bradshaw seemed to be keeping quite close all day challenging each other at every moment, all this put together with the other two classes made a very enjoyable day's riding.

Through the course of the day Tonymoto's track B and the mini-bike track were also open to the mini-bikers; this was by far one of the most amusing things of the day.

Strangely tall men on tiny bikes made people excited to hear that there was a mini-bike challenge with all the riders participating including Brad Andersen. The flag went up to start the race and Brad decided to leave the line whilst the rest of them were still sat there waiting to go.

The winner of the five lap dash was James Breckon but he was closely challenged by Steve Ruddock who came in a close second.

A huge thanks goes out from the Nottingham Neonatal Trust to all those who helped out and put together a great day, including Myles Adburgham, Still MX Motocross Photography, Chris Cayford and the Tonymoto crew.
