FOLLOWING endless hours of hard work, track preparation, promotion and planning, Dursley MXC received just rewards for their efforts by attracting a bumper crowd to their promotion of the IMBA European MX2 and AMCA MX1 Championship rounds at Nympsfield on Sunday.

Add in professional presentation and a great overall IMBA MX2 victory for home club rider Lee Dunham – which has lifted the defending champion to the top of the championship table, this was then without doubt easily the best AMCA meeting of the season so far!

Joining Dunham on the podium was local lad and IMBA debutant, Paul Neale, while Jack Taylor finished fourth, Phil Mercer sixth, Sean Frayne tenth, Shane Holmes 12th and Carl Benjamin 15th.

Over in AMCA MX1, defending champion, Ben Saunders, recorded his third consecutive overall win and is currently in imperious form as he moves 47-points clear of Lee Payne. Another Dursley MXC member Elliot Barrs joined Saunders and Payne on the podium.
