"Crashing in France wasn't part of the gameplan," explains Dougie, "especially as I was leading the championship at that point."It would be fantastic to have a big crowd behind not just me but all the other British riders too. Although it's still down to me riding the bike it is a massive boost to have your home fans cheering you on."I've seen the pictures of the 500 MX GP when it was held at Hawkstone Park in the '80s and the crowds looked incredible.
