WITH the 2007 AMCA motocross championships due to blast into action at the beginning of May, its time for the tense early season qualifying racing to decide just who will be filling those available gate spaces at Cleobury Mortimer. Where better to start your quest for glory than the famous Foxhill Grand Prix circuit, near Swindon.

Chasing the eight places up for grabs from the Area Four 125ccqualifiers - the second round being held at the AMCA-owned circuit atUpavon this coming Sunday - a total of 29 riders were present at the Devizes MCC promoted event.

Leading the qualifying chase after the spectacular Foxhill action isNicholas Leer, recording a strong 1-3-1 scorecard, his closest rivalsduring round one being Aran Agius, Carl Benjamin, Martin Truman and Joseph Barry.
