Thomas Covington making 2020 MXGP return says report

A report on a European site claims Thomas Covington is heading back to the world of MXGP in 2020.
MX1Onboard reports that the 23-year-old American star is quitting the US and returning to his pro roots in Europe very much a happier hunting ground in the past for Covington.

Former factory Honda rider Calvin Vlaanderen, who has to move up to the MXGP class in 2020, and Italian Alessandro Lupino will be Covington's team-mates at Gebben Van Venrooy Racing, who will reportedly switch from Kawasaki to Yamaha.
The Alabama-native suffered ill health during 2019 and never really got going he will be looking to put that behind him for 2020. He certainly has talent...
Covington who married the love of his life Amy Louise in the summer delivered 16 podiums and won four grands prix in his five-year European career which started in 2014 and ended in 2018. Although some would argue he didn't deliver consistent results.
We haven't seen any confirmation yet and neither Covington or Vlaanderen have commented on it publically.
