SR75 Molson Racing Suzuki has signed a one-year global deal with reigning Monster Energy Arenacross champion Thomas Ramette.

The 24-year-old from Valence in France has one year remaining on an existing two-year contract with SR75 for the UK and USA and team owner Geoff Walker is delighted to add the rest of the world – most notably mainland Europe – to the deal.

"I am incredibly pleased to sign Thomas as a full-time global athlete for SR75,” said Geoff. "We all work great together and I believe fully in Thomas and his amazing abilities on a dirt bike.

"We will begin planning our schedule soon and in true SR75 style we will try to cover the coolest events while aiming for top results in Europe and the USA

whenever possible. None of this is possible without our team partners so I thank all of them for their support in the UK and around the world.”

As well as winning the 2015 AX title for SR75, Thomas also raced two rounds of last year's AMA Monster Energy Supercross Championship, qualifying for both Main Events with his best result 15th at the season finale in Las Vegas.

His performances earned him an invitation to the prestigious Red Bull Straight Rhythm event in Pomona, California, in October.

"I'm really pleased to announce that I will be riding SR75 Molson Racing Suzuki for the entire 2016 season – France and Europe included,” said Thomas.

"I had the best results of my career with the team and they made me pass a new step in 2015. I've been a top-five guy in Europe and I became a champion.

"Then they realised my dream to race in the USA and the results were beyond my expectations.

"I'm really happy to race the RM-Z450 Suzuki for 2016 and the team did a great job to fit her perfectly to me.

"Through our partners we have some really good parts and have made the bike a real weapon.”

SR75 is also hoping to secure the services of Thomas' AX team-mate Cyrille Coulon for selected international races.

"Suzuki GB is working hard to develop the global support network we require and the fantastic team there is working tirelessly to support us,” added Geoff. "I believe with the instant marketing available these days we can represent our UK and worldwide sponsors no matter where we are.”
