The Rockstar Teka Suzuki World MX1 team dominated a sweltering third round of six in the Belgian MX Pro Championship at Tongeren: Clement Desalle sealed the triumph by going 1-2 in the two motos on his works RM-Z450WS while Steve Ramon rode to third and first positions to clinch second overall and front the series standings by 24 points.

An undisputed day of action for the Belgian team began with the fastest times in practice for Desalle and Ramon respectively as the temperatures rapidly began to climb. Belgian Champion Desalle - who is splitting national championship commitments between his home country and Germany this season - chased down Tanel Leok in the first moto across the natural and narrow course and his pressure was rewarded when the Estonian made a mistake and crashed. Ramon followed through in third with Davide Guarneri for company.

In the second race Desalle again found himself following a pacemaker but found it easier to dispatch of holeshotter Marc de Reuver. Later into the distance, Ramon picked up his speed and harried his team-mate to move through for his fourth moto victory from six. Ramon has not dropped out of the top three yet in the domestic campaign.

"It was a good day; hard work in the heat but also quite good fun," said winner and reigning number one Desalle. "They had made some changes to the track and I felt OK. Steve was faster in the second moto though. I did not want to take any risks and when he came past I could see that he had some good lines. Anyway, I had the win and no crashes so overall I'm happy."

The team will now enjoy a break after a busy spell of the season and their home Grand Prix of Limburg at Lommel will follow on August 1st.
