Sad death of Jim Carr

The trials fraternity was saddened to learn of the death of Jim Carr from Staintondale, near Scarborough, on Friday, September 1. He was 82 years old.
Jim, along with his wife Tonia, shared a passion for the sport of trials riding that lasted a lifetime.
One of the most trusted and respected of observers at Centre, British and World level, not only by riders, but by everyone involved in the sport.
Jim was also a true gentleman in every walk of life and he will be greatly missed by the trials world.
But the greatest loss is to his close family and our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with them all at this sad time.
RIP Jim Carr. One of the best.
A funeral service will take place at 12.30pm, on Tuesday, September12,at Staintondale Church, near Scarborough.
