Arson at Canada Heights

Colunists

After running the very successful second round of the Maxxis British Championship the previous weekend at Canada Heights, Sidcup club-member, Jamie Clarke, got a call at midnight on Saturday, April 2, to say there was smoke coming from Canada Heights.

On arrival at the venue Jamie found one of the two containers used by the St John's Ambulance crew well alight.
So hot was the fire it ignited the cladding in the container next door which was used to assess and treat the likes of Seb Pourcell and Gordon Crockard only the week before.

As you can see from the image the cabin, which the first aiders used as their canteen is no longer and the ‘Assessment Centre' is beyond redemption with so much smoke and water damage.

With a club event scheduled for this weekend followed by Sidcup's first open motocross on April 17, the hard working members of the Sidcup club and their friends from St John don't need such mindless vandalism.
