RACING a 450 Yamaha, Blaise Parent and his partner Romain Couprie stormed to a convincing win at the weekend's Le Touquet Quaduro and in so doing successfully defended the title they won last year.

But it could have been all so different as British pairing Paul Winrow (pictured left) and Willie Waggott led for a long time in the first hour. However, once again mechanical problems robbed Winrow of the second win he wants so much.
