NATIONAL trials is a year-round sport and the events take place from the freezing cold of the winter months to the roasting weekends of summer. And, the 2007 National season will get away with the traditional National trials opener, the Vic Brittain, which returns after a year's sabatical.

The Vic Brittain represents the first round of the 2007 Novogar series, hosted by the Midlands Centre and will be staged high up on the Clee Hills in Shropshire. With a bright and early start time of 9.01am, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to the start at The Three Horseshoes Inn, Wheathill, near to Bridgnorth.

In the past, time has often been an issue for the riders to complete the 38 subs, split over 22 miles in the five hours 30 minute limit so there is little time for hanging about.

The entry has been limited to just 80 entries in order to try and get the event over before dark at this time of limited daylight hours and there was a real scrabble for entries.
