Let's hear it for the Bou!

FOLLOWING his second place in last weekend's event in Milan, Repsol-Montesa's exciting new recruit Toni Bou stands on the brink of landing his first World Championship Indoor title. In fact, Toni could easily be crowned World Indoor Trials champ this weekend when round seven of the 2007 series takes place in Mahon, Menorca
This comes about because T+MX understands that the proposed penultimate round in Argentina will not now take place. We are also led to believe that the event will not be replaced and that the 2007 series will be decided over eight rounds, the final round being Madrid on March 17.
So, with just two rounds left to go as you read this, Bou only needs to come out of Menorca with a 10 point title lead and he can give Madrid a miss! Not that he would dream of doing so. What better opportunity than to strut your stuff in front of a home-country crowd with the title already in the bag!
