This week the STR KTM team announces that Scotlands Bryan Mackenzie will be joining the team to ride the last few GPs following Nathan Parkers season ending injury, sustained at Matterley Basin.

Nathan – aka Nez – snapped his LCL (lateral cruciate ligament) in his right knee as well as also suffering damage to the meniscus.

He had surgery last week to repair the damage and is already on the road to recovery.

Team manager, Steve Turner explains: "Bryan filled in for the injured Cedric Melotte a few years ago at CAS Honda and turned in some impressive performances and we'll be hoping he does the same for us. He'll be joining Matiss Karro's replacement, Jamie Law, this weekend in the deep sand of Lierop, which won't be easy.

"You definitely wouldn't choose this one for your first GP, but Bryan's experienced and up for the challenge.”

Bryan added: "It's been a while since I last rode a Grand Prix – because of the age ruling in MX2 – but I'm pretty excited to be getting a go at it on a great team like STR KTM.”
